Discovering that the important work and data that you saved into a DOCX file might be lost because that DOCX file got damaged or corrupted is not something you would want to experience too often.
The main purpose of SysTools DOCX Repair is to attempt the fixing of corrupted MS Word 2007 and 2010 files (DOCX files). I am a little disappointed that it supports only this type of files and not the wider-used DOC files too, but what’s fair is fair, even the name of the tool told me what I should expect from it. SysTools DOCX Repair managed to load DOCX files and correctly preview their content even if these files contained images, graphs, equations and special characters. That largely convinced me that this tool is reliable enough and should be tried anytime the need to recover DOCX files arises.
Its interface is very simple: it only lets you load the damaged DOCX file, preview how much of it can be recovered, and save its recovered form to another DOCX document or to a RTF file. That’s it, no other options or settings are involved.
In my tests SysTools DOCX Repair did well and that makes me recommend it. There’s no reason not to give it a try, as it might save you many days of work.
